Production Manager

Location: Industrial Park Ghimbav, Brasov (Romania)

Job type: full time (Mon-Fri, 8:00 – 16:30)
Duration of contract: permanent
Reports to: General Manager

Position summary:
– Responsible for production capacity and the execution of daily workflow and production
– Responsible for continuous improvements in production policies, processes, procedures, instructions and production staff
– Responsible for daily operation and performance of production, processes, and staff according to procedures, processes and instructions
– Ensuring optimal production output – in terms of Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery, Cost and People
– Responsible for strategic project implementation on own site and best practice sharing globally
– Responsible for implementing assigned global projects and tasks.

Qualifications:
– Technical engineering education at bachelor level or higher
– 3-5 years of production management experience in a similar production environment
– Strong Lean tool box (preferably educated as Lean manager or similar)
– Have focus on Continuous Elimination of the “7 Wastes” via LEAN implementation
– Strong communication skills, both on the shop floor and in the offices
– Good command of English, both in speech and in writing
– Strong ability to organize tasks and follow up, by being persistent
– Strong management skills
– Strong knowledge of national/ local labor law.

Travel requirements:
– Global travelling should be expected.
