Business Controller

Location: Industrial Park Ghimbav, Brasov
Job type: full time (Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30)

Duration of contract: permanent
Reports to: Financial Manager

Objective:
1. To establish an internal controlling for operations and sales for our sites in both Romania and China. The controller must work from our factory in Brasov
2. To support business improvement.

Tasks:
1. Conduct internal operational controlling
2. Secure a correct basis for product after calculation
3. Analysis of the elements in COGS (price and volume variances)
4. Devise plans for cost and scrap reduction
5. Jointly with Operations Manager define KPIs for Operations (efficiency)
6. Analysis to improve profit and presentation of the analysis for the management in a comprehensive and objective way.
7. Prepare action plans for the management to realize the improvements. Follow up.
8. Make unannounced physical stock controls
9. Controlling of material surcharge models – calculation of sales prices

Requirements:

2-3 years skills as Business Controller in a production company
Analytic data abilities with solid understanding for work processes and optimization
A solid practice in electronic data handling and analysis in Excel – huge files
Articulate in English both in oral and writing
Good communication skills, skilled in offering constructive criticism
Ability to work with employees on all organizational levels
Authority and impact
Proactive and use to work with continuous improvement mindset
Efficient, result-oriented and methodical person.

Success criteria:

Documented improvement of work flow in advantage for the site
Measurable improvement on basis for after calculations
Measurable improvement on gross margins due to focus on costs and scrap.
