Shipping Coordinator

Position summary:
- Responsible for the part of the supply chain where transportation with external freight forwarders are a part of the process, hereby: inbound, outbound and internal transportation
- Ordinary- and express deliveries
- Special equipment transporters
- Responsible for all relevant certification and authorizations in relation to the shipping area
Responsibilities:
- Safety (EHS)
Represent our Safety Culture & Environmental Policy when interacting with internal and external
partners
Ensure that the site/department hold relevant and mandatory certifications and authorizationsQ – Quality
Responsible our external freight partners towards Zero defects
Responsible only to use approved suppliers following group guidelines
- D- Delivery
Ensure all SO order lines to be shipped on time
Ensure all PO order lines to be picked up by supplier and received at site, on time
Support the organization, colleagues and customers with all kind of transport related tasks
Booking and tracking
Handling of custom, documents, country of origin
Transport damages
- C – Cost
Managing- and reduction of costs
Negotiate contract- and prices with the freight forwarders
- P – People
Assist other areas when holidays or leave.
Requirements:

Educated freight forwarder

Must have a high drive and work self

Minimum 3 years of experience on strategic, tactical and operational level

Familiar with tools like Tenders

Holds analytic skills
-
Used to prepare and perform negotiations with suppliers and service providers

Strong communication skills, both internally and to supply side

Good command of English in speech and writing (advanced level).
