European Welding Engineer
Location: Industrial Park Ghimbav, Brasov (Romania)
Job type: full time (Mon-Fri, 8:00 – 16:30)
Duration of contract: permanent
Reports to: Production Manager

Requirements:
– IWE/EWE certificate is a must
– High level of technical understanding, as well as quality
– Materials and their behavior during welding
– Inspection/ Quality control knowledge
– Welding process and equipment
– Strong communication skills
– Very good command of English in speech and writing
– Strong ability to organize tasks and follow up
– Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for welding documentation for various projects
– Prepare WPS and WPQR and other documents related to welding
– Responsible for training, plan, test for new welders as well as follow up
– Develop necessary guides and instructions for welding, according to existing/new products
– Verify welding drawings (from tech department before release)
– Ensure presence of correct welding machines/equipment
– Ensure that existing fixtures for all divisions/products are correct (fix product according to specification)
– Ensure that competence matrix is correct, in cooperation with production management.
