Currently for our Client, a well-known international Telecommunications company, we are looking for Oracle Specialist, as part of Network Planning & Modeling Department, a team of dedicated professionals. This means more than focusing on the latest technology in communications, but a pioneer in a world of total telecom solutions.
Job specification:
- Maintain the Oracle environments which support Group’s key business applications
- Provide best customer experience on service performance due to regular system reviews and pro-active performance and resilience improvements
- Provide regular reviews of application data model. Monitoring of data growth, planning and processing of data reorganizations and housekeeping
- Manage database related refresh and decommissioning programs whilst maintaining the highest level of Service availability to customers.
Requirements:
- Education: Academic level
- Good knowledge in administration of Oracle databases in a production environment
- Expert knowledge in SQL –tuning
- Good knowledge in programming with PL/SQL and UNIX Shell programming
- Good knowledge of further Oracle database options like i.e. RAC, Data Guard, GRID Control, RMAN, Datapump
- Good knowledge in Export/Import, Object reorganization
- Good understanding of ITIL
- Good understanding of SOX and Security regulations
- Good knowledge of DC Environment
- Standard read/write capabilities in English
- Experience in a multinational environment.
