Company: Partner with a 30-year tradition of major Automotive manufacturer, in the development and birth of the product. We are a virtual interface between the Design and Production departments.
The main office is in Munich with 120 employees, and in May 2016 the Brasov location was opened where the staff needs are increasing.
Requirements:
In this position you are part of one of the teams specialized in a specific component part of the car (body, interior, electrical-wiring or car dynamics - wheels, chassis).
As a focus: starting from the 3D drawings (concept) received from the BMW Design department, you plan and create component lists using various BMW IT applications, then launch and monitor the component list for the related production lines.
The component lists consist of codes entered virtually, each modification is made according to certain criteria and requirements (the activity begins with a 5-week initial training and later on the job).
The job does not consist of the mechanical processing of databases, but consists of the virtual construction of a flow process and virtual car components in the related systems. You process various modifications with a high level of complexity depending on the requirements of special Farb- und Formlogistik. We work intensively together with the customer in all these stages, as well as with the support of our colleagues in the Munich office.
