CNC Abkant Operator
Location: Industrial Park Ghimbav, Brasov (Romania)
Job type: full time, 2 shifts (Mon-Fri)
Duration of contract: permanent
Reports to: Production Manager
Company: Vestas aircoil Romania (then VP Industries Romania)
Requirements:
– minimum 2 years of experience in metalworking
– knowledge of handling CNC numerical control machines (Abkant press, laser cutting machine)
– knowledge of technical drawing
– observational skills, visual memory
– driving license/forklift handling
– availability to work in 2 shifts.
Responsibilities:
Handling/Commanding/Programming of the machine tools provided:
– laser cutting machine (CNC)
– Abkant press (CNC)
– other metalworking devices (processes: bending, cutting)
– supervising processes and handling of machines within the section
– quality assurance for products made according to the control plan (measuring parts)
– handling of industrial transport equipment – overhead crane, forklift.
