Production Planner
Location: Industrial Park Ghimbav, Brasov (Romania)
Job type: full time (Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30)
Duration of contract: permanent
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Company: Vestas aircoil Romania (then VP Industries Romania)
Qualifications:
- advanced English level
- knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP system
- 3 years experience in a production planning position
- 3-5 years experience in an industrial working environment
- experience of reading technical documentations
- sense of responsibility
- very good motivation
- good organizer
- strong communications skills
- ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Tasks:
- inform customers in due time about possible/actual delivery dates and delays
- plan and prepare production schedules (ERP) to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts/customer orders
- analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resources requirements
- plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
- plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, welding and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
- ensure that all the data’s inserts within ERP system are correct
- ensure that the daily tasks are met without delays
- find solutions for efficiency improvement for the daily activities
- collaborate with other departments in order to ensure a smooth flow in order to fulfill daily tasks
- ensure daily operations in database are according with the to-do list
- ensure and perform stock adjustments togheter with the stock responsible
- participate in project meetings for the new products
- may prepare lists of required materials/tools/equipment.
